La Countryman si tinge d'azzurro con la Mini Countryman by Romeo Ferraris, edizione speciale messa a punto dal preparatore italiano per festeggiare i 150 anni dell'Unità d'Italia. L'intenzione è quella di legare un evento storico per l'Italia a un modello per cui i tecnici hanno preparato una serie di interventi che non si limitano solamente all'aspetto estetico, ma che vanno ad arricchire la vettura anche dal punto di vista tecnico, ovviamente prendendo spunto dalla versione sportiva Countryman Cooper S.Ciò che si nota subito è ovviamente la tinta azzurra opaco, su cui spiccano i gruppi ottici con sfondo nero e la mascherina anteriore, le corici e i badge laterali verniciati in color grafite, lo stesso colore scelto per i cerchi OZ Racing Ultraleggera IIIda 19 pollici con canale esterno verniciato in azzurro e scomponibili in tre pezzi, su cui vengono "calzate" gomme Yokohama Advan Sport della misura 225/40. Il tetto è invece caratterizzato dalla finitura cromata, con la particolarità di poter ordinare delle calotte degli specchietti retrovisori esterni con il tricolore della bandiera italiana anziché in tinta.
L'abitacolo è invece rivestito in pelle color ghiaccio con cuciture azzurre che fanno da contrasto e che sono impreziosite da un piping blu che fa da cornice ai poggiatesta, sui quali campeggia il Sagittario ricamato in filo azzurro simbolo di Romeo Ferraris. Sullo schienale del sedile si trova invece l'ennesimo omaggio all'Italia, grazie al tricolore in pelleche campeggia in bella vista.
Il comparto tecnico della Mini Countryman by Romeo Ferraris comprende invece l'impiego del propulsore 1.6 Turbo a iniezione diretta da 184 cavalli portato dal preparatore italiano ad erogare una potenza di 227 cavalli e una coppia, con un incremento di 43 cavalli rispetto alla versione originale a cui si aggiungono gli 88 Nm addizionali forniti per quanto riguarda la coppia massima.
Il merito è da ricercare nel nuovo impianto di scarico sportivo che ricorda quello della Mini Countryman WRC e nel nuovo intercooler maggiorato, mentre le prestazioni superiori sono gestite da un assetto regolabile che può essere ribassato fino a 50 millimetri rispetto all'altezza di serie. Nuovo è anche l'impianto frenante Brembo con dischi flottanti forati da 328 millimetri di diametro e pinze a 4 pistoncini che garantisce spazi d'arresto contenuti e una frenata perfettamente modulabile.

What you immediately notice the blue tint is of course opaque, on which stand the headlights with black background and the front grille, badges and the lay-colored painted side graphite, the same color chosen for OZ Racing wheels 19 inch Ultra-Light III with external canal painted in blue and broken down into three pieces, which are "worn" tires Yokohama Advan Sport 225/40 measurement. The roof is instead characterized by a chrome, with the particularity of being able to order the caps of the side mirrors with the tricolor Italian flag instead of the same color.
The interior is covered in hand stitched leather ice blue that are the contrast and that are embellished with a blue piping that frames the head restraints, on which stands the Sagittarius symbol embroidered in blue thread of Romeo Ferraris. On the other hand the seat back is yet another tribute to Italy, thanks to the tri-colored leather that stands out in plain sight.
The merit lies in the new sports exhaust system reminiscent of the Mini Countryman and the WRC, plus new intercooler, while the performance is managed by a structure that can be lowered Adjustable up to 50 mm than the height standard. Also new is the Brembo brakes with floating discs punched from 328 mm in diameter and 4-piston calipers that provides content and braking distance braking adaptable.
